Specified file is not a virtual disk, RAID 5

Hello to all helpful people,

I have a raid 5 setup with a separate SSD for the main disk in VMware workstation for Windows Home Server 2011. So the server is running virtually on the second part of the SSD Drive (D:). Then I had a RAID 5 setup giving me from 4 x 1TB disk a 2,72TB disk where I had a virtual second disk running for all the data(F:) thinking this is more secure and if I lose the main WHS2011 setup at least the second disk will work in workstation with a other VM.

Not so to be. Power failure at night, so next day unable to start VM with second disk getting msg "specified file is not a Virtual disk". Also tried mapping the file in Windows 7 as that is where I have the workstation installed on. Tried second VM to add but same msg at add harddisk menu.

I am new at this and I spend lots of time reading the answer but I can't get my file fixed as explained. I don't see how to fix it.

Here are my files posted.

Please note that I have managed to start the VM again with the disk Nr. 2 removed so that is visible in .vmx file and first .log.

Thanks for your support!!!

Greeting, Jimmy
