5.1 networking question to lacp or not

Hi

I have a dell r620 with 2 x 1G ports going into a stacked 8024f.

* should I be setting up lacp on the switch and ip has routing on vswitch ?

been looking and looking and can't find that say which is best practices to do it or not !
