Connecting IBM DS3200 to ESX 3.5 (IBM x3650)

Hello,

I'm trying to repurpose a DS3200 for our development cluster of ESX 3.5 hosts.  I have one SAS cable connected from the host to the DS3200
A controller.  Here's what I've done so far in trying to get it setup.
-Setup a 2 disk RAID 0 test array in the DS3200.
-Setup Host parameters in the DS3200 (configured host access and host-to-logical drive mappings).
-The DS3200 sees the HBA of the host and looks ok.
-Tried rescanning on the host and then adding storage, but nothing shows up.
-Updated firmware on the DS3200 to 7.35.71.00, rescanned on the host, but no storage to add.
-Updated the firmware on the ServeRAID 8k controller to 5.2.0 build 17003, but still nothing shows.
-Came across the vmware compatability list and updated the required patches ESX-201002403-BG, 408-BG and 409-BG.  Still doesn't find it.
-Used update manager to basically load every critical patch and update, but still no go.
-Checked HCL and server(x3650), SAS Controller(ServeRAID 8k) and DS3200 are there and up to required levels.
Is there something I'm missing here?  Please let me know if you have any ideas.
Thanks,
Jeremy
