hi,
i'm trying to convert a windows 10 running machine to vcenter. we have a master ESXi host. on this host we have virtual machines for 2 esxi and windows 2016 vcenter server
we also have openfiler nas storage connected to these virtual machines an available as storage.
hosts are in the 10.10.48.0/24 network = > all hosts have disabled firewall
i also enabled local admin on w10 machine and disabled windows defender, no drive mapping and disable simple file sharing
i installed converter on w10 machine and choose local machine + administrator and password
then i choose destination the vcenter server ip + administrator@vsphere.local en password
the connection to vcenter seems to work as in the next step i am able to see the vcenter server with datastorage ( esxi hosts)
i choose first esxi host - nas storage
when starting the converting i get error :
An error occurred while opening a virtual disk. Verify that the converter server and the running source machines have a network access to the source and destination ESX/ESXi hosts
i also tried : remove esxi host from vcenter, convert to esxi host => same error
i have exported log
can someplease help me with this. thank you
