I've had an annoying issue in VMWare Fusion for years and have yet to find a fix, or even another post mentioning the issue. I primarily use Fusion on an iMac and use an Apple Magic Trackpad instead of a mouse. I've experienced the same issue on a MacBook with it's trackpad. I've also experienced it in both an XP and a Vista VM.
The issue is that some times when I move the mouse quickly or scroll, the VM will "type" an x or y character into the active window. This is highly annoying when in a text document, and epsecially when writing code. It would seem to be related to the Windows mouse signal "mickeys". Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a fix?
I'm currently using Fusion 5.02 on OSX 10.8.2, with the latest install of VMWare Tools in the VM. However, I've experienced this issue ever since Fusion 1.0.
