Might be a generic question rather than a storage specific one. How does on get alerts when the storage sends check conditions with sense data. For example i have something like the below in the logs
Cmd 0x93 ... failed ... Valid sense data: 0x6 0x38 0x7.Act:NONE
followed by a line like
Space utilization on thin-provisioned ... exceeded configured threshold
The storage array sends a check condition when the available space falls below certain threshold (TP Soft Threshold). I assume that there is a better way than monitoring the logs. Can i get the above as a notfication (snmp trap ???)
