Hi guys,
I have a Thinapp application that I restricted to a group of users. I assigned it to a pool with the installation type as 'Streaming'.
The application is deployed even for unauthorized users, but when an unauthorized user clicks on it he received a message box saying 'Permission denied' which is normal.
So here are my questions:
- Is the application deployed only when the user logs on the desktop? Or is it deployed right after it was assigned to a pool or desktop? At first glance, it seems like the application is deployed only when a user logs on.
- Why the application is deployed even for unauthorized users? Is View deploy thinapps with the /keepunauthorized parameter by default? Or is it because the deployment runs against the computers and not users? If that the normal behavior, it sucks. I'll have to use thinreg which represents a considerable overhead in my VDI environment (well, I still can install the thinapp SDK in the golden image...).
Thanks for your answers,
