portablize a command line based application

i want to use vmware to portablize this application
this application includes:
1.an exe file
2.a batch file
the batch file uses command line to run the exe file
how can i portablize this project?
i have done a simple pre and post scan but the vmware didn't capture anything about running batch file but just the exe file
my problem is mostly configuring the "Package.ini" file
please help..

for example the batch file contains:

echo My text

set INPUT1=
set /P INPUT1=%=%

if %INPUT1% equ 215

a.exe

the batch file captures the input and if 215 is entered, it starts a.exe
