I've installed the perl sdk "VMware-vSphere-Perl-SDK-5.1.0-780721.x86_64.gz" on centos 6.3-x86_64, supposedly successfully (after a few quirks, such as the UUID needing libuuid-devel). However, resxtop is looking for a bunch of 32 bit librarires that aren't normally installed. I installed a few of them, but it keeps asking for more. for example:
Once I got to libxml2, yum refused to install the 32bit version; you can't have both 32bit and 64bit at once, so just installing all the required 32 bit libraries won't work either.
I have this installed on a Zenoss 4.2 system, which only runs on 64bits. It needs resxtop to monitor esxi systems. Is there a 64bit version of resxtop? I haven't even tried the rest of the sdk, although I expect the perl modules will work fine.
