In Fusion 4 and now in Fusion 5, every time I start up my Windows XP VM I get this warning: "Windows XP does not include drivers for the BusLogic SCSI adapter that VMware Fusion uses for virtual SCSI devices. To use these virtual SCSI devices, install the VMware driver in the virtual machine. Download the driver from "http://vmware.com/info?id=43"." However, the VM runs fine. I'd like to get rid of this bogus warning, and I've searched the threads on this forum as well as looking at the Knowledge Base articles. I find information about this, and even instructions about adding a line (buslogic.nodriver = "FALSE") to a config file to turn off the warning, but either the suggestions don't work or the locations where the config file is supposed to be don't exist. I'm running Fusion on a MacBook Pro Retina, OS X 10.8.2.
Does anyone have an updated method on how to stop this annoying warning?
Thanks,
Scott
