As the title says; I made a full sector by sector image of my C Drive (Win7 x64) using Acronis True Image, and I want to simply be able to run it now within a Virtual Machine. This way I can access the registry using the registry editor, etc.
I've searched and searched and tried and tried until I'm blue in the face to get it working. I've tried the VmWare converter tool; tried making the .tib file into a .iso, and so on and have gotten nowhere. it seems like this should just be so easy to do since it's got the boot data etc. right there in it since it's the boot drive, but it hasn't been. 
Can anyone help me do this please?
