We recently upgraded to vSphere 5.1 and updated the VMware Tools with the included package, build 782409, on all of our Windows guests. We were plagued with the Event Viewer spew "Error in the RPC receive loop: RpcIn: Unable to send" indicated as fixed in Patch ESXi510-201212402-BG. I used Update Manager to push ESXi510-201212402-BG out to all of our hosts. Running "esxcli software vib list" on the hosts shows that the tools-light VIB build has been updated.
