More 5.1.0b install fun (installing certificates)

In working through KB articles 2034833 and 2035011.  When creating my .properties files, I put the wrong server in the URI field.  So when I'm trying to update the services (Step 19 of KB 2035011), I managed to change the server to something that would never respond to certificate requests.

Any further attempt at running the ssolscli updateService commands fails, as it's trying to authenticate the commands with a non-existant server.  In fact almost all SSOLSCLI commands fail now.

I have not yet installed the vCenter web client, but tried to do so after finding a thread discussing the manual editting of settings, but needing the web client to do so.  However, the install is now failing, too, becuase of this incorrect setting.

Upon running ssolscli listServices:

Service 3

-----------
serviceId={A4F84986-586A-4003-9D22-C63FC354A08A}:5
serviceName=vCenterService
type=urn:vc

version=5.1
description=vCenter Server

productId=<null>
viSite={A4F84986-586A-4003-9D22-C63FC354A08A}
Service 4
-----------
serviceId={A4F84986-586A-4003-9D22-C63FC354A08A}:2
serviceName=STS for Single Sign On
type=urn:sso:sts
version=1.0
description=The Security Token Service of the Single Sign On server.
ownerId=
productId=<null>
viSite={A4F84986-586A-4003-9D22-C63FC354A08A}
Return code is: Success

While I'm trying to avoid having to completely reinstall vCenter, does anyone know how change the endpoint setting as seen above?

thanks.
