This may be a really naive question. If I have an existing ESXi host with 5.0u1 installed on it, and I want to change the two quad-core Xeon processors that are in that host for faster six-core Xeon processors, will I have to reinstall ESXi once I've changed that hardware? Since both processors are Intel Xeon models, I'm hoping that ESXi will just adjust to the faster processors when it boots up after they're installed, but I want to check here to see what the consensus is so I can estimate the amount of time this will take. Obviously, it will add some time to do a full reinstall.
