Hi,
I'm trying to install vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi) 4.1 on a newly built server and during the installation process I get the following error message:
The BIOS reports that NUMA node 1 has no memory. This problem is either caused by a bad BIOS or a very unbalanced distribution of memory modules.
Following are my Server Details
Mother Board - ASUS KGPE-D14 Socket 34
CPU - AMD Opteron 6128 , 2 GHz
Memory - Kingston 2X4 GB
Currently I'm using only one CPU and 8 GB Memory (4 GB each in two slots) and dont want to install another CPU or add extra memory for this NUMA issue. I have gone thru all the vmware articles regarding this issue and there is no luck so far. Please help me as how I can resolve this issue and get proceed further.
Thanks,
Praveen
