Unable to delete datastore after a lun was resized

Hello

I have this situation. A couple of months ago. I requested 1.2TB lun to the storage team. I created the 1.2TB datastore and everything works fine.

After a couple of days the storage team changed the lun size to 600GB with the datastore mounted. Now I see 1.2TB datastore, but the lun size is 600GB

I can browse the the datastore, I can create a directory, .... but I can not delete it.

The error is:  an error ocurred during host configuration
                  Call "HostDatastoreSystem.RemoveDatastore" for object "ha-datastoresystem" on ESXi "server_name"

Any idea, how to fix this?

Is it possible from the storage size, unassign the lun, format the lun and assign it again to the ESxi host

The Esxi version is 4.1U2
