I am attempting to audit a random selection of host servers and compare the date of last configuration change to a change management database in order to determine if a corresponding change ticket was properly submitted.
What is the best solution to determine the date of last configuration change on an ESX server? Is there a specific log file that would record this information on the host itself or can you determine the last configuration change within vCenter?
