Hello everyone! I have a test CentOS (5.8) cluster installed on my VM Workstation ver 9.0.1. The idea was to get a test cluster up to test SNMP RedHat clutster monitoring with our companys monitoring software. The cluster is up and running (two nodes, shared storage), filewall and SELinux is off, SNMP is configured, running and listening on 161. The network is bridged and have an good IP on our network (x.x.140.x). But outside of x.x.140.x SNMP UDP port 161 is not open. Other ports are open, im running luci web server on it and can hit it fine from any segment. For whatever reason it looks like the VM workstation VMnic is not able to pass UDP 161. On my local workstation (where VM is installed), I have snmp 161 set up and working, I just cannot query snmp on the centOS servers running on the VM. On the same segment from one VM to another, I can query SNMP fine.
Anyone else run into this issue?
