I've spent the last 3 hours digging through just about every nook and crany of VMware and Google to find the answer to this question, which is, how does Hyperic licensing work with vCloud Suite? Under the edition comparison table it clearly states (at least to me) that you can monitor your EMC and NetApp storage with the Enterprise edition, but based on the vCloud licensing terms you can only monitor devices for which you purchase a per-CPU license for, which would then logically appear as though you'd need to purchase a separate vCloud Suite Enterprise license for EACH CPU IN YOUR ARRAY.
Obviously under this scenario this would be cheaper to just buy a separate device license for the storage array, but I can't get over the fact that the licensing terms contradict what is said in the table.
Please help me for my sanity.
