is snapshot create performance issue ?

Hi Folks,

We have one sql production vmware server its window 2008 server .

Long time back we one snapshot.

Now from last few days we are getting high cpu spiket issue but this not on constant basis. we faced this issue on within time frame.

We didnt take backup of vmware backup or not using any backup software

can any one tell me is this issue occued with snapshot ?
