Utilizzo per fare i backup delle Virtual Machines su un server ESX 4.1, VMEsxplorer
Da circa un mese ho un problema su un backup. VMExplorer riporta questo errore:
"The task has finished successfully, but Quiesce snapshot could not be performed. ESX said: VimService40.LocalizedMethodFault - Cannot create a quiesced snapshot because the create snapshot operation exceeded the time limit for holding off I/O in the frozen virtual machine"
Io ho gia' aperto un ticket presso Trilead (l'azienda che produce VMExplorer) ma visto che l'errore pare provenire da VMWare, magari qui qualcuno sa aiutarmi.
Attenzione.... io ho gia' fatto tutto quello che viene riportato qui:
ma non e' stato risolutivo.
Inoltre volevo aggiongere che sull'host sono presenti 3 macchine virtuali, una di queste (un server linux) non ha mai problemi con i backup.
Poi c'e' un Windows Server 2008 che fa da Terminal Server + SQL Server che non da (quasi mai) questo problema.. ma a volte si!
In fine c'e' un Server 2008 DC + Exchange 2008, ed e' su questo server che da un mese ho tutti i giorni l'errore riportato.
Il server e' ben carrozzato ha due processori 4-core e 36 GB di ram.
