I have three Windows 2003 VMs in my VMware Workstation 8. I want to configure RRAS in one of the VMs so that I can access internet form other two VMs.
The VM on which RRAS (LAN Routing and NAT) is configured has two nics. One nic set to bridge networking so that it can get IP address from the broadband service provider. I have assigned IP address manually to the other nic which is set to host only network as mentioned below;
IP: 192.168.5.1
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
But when I am using 192.168.5.1 as default gateway to the other two VMs ,internet is not accessible from them however I am able to ping 192.168.5.1 IP.
Am I doing anything wrong? Any help would be appreciated.
