NAT Fusion Problem

Dear Experts,,

I am running Vmware Fusion 5 on MAC LION, running backtrack 5d3 . I am currently trying to search for hosts using ettercap GUI, however i only get the IP address of my host (mac machine) and not all the other computers i've got connected to the same network

The settings of my machine are as follows:
While using Bridged networking
Host MAC machine : 192.168.1.113
Back track vmware : 192.168.1.118
They both ping successfuly, however when i try to ping other machines in the same network from the backtrack machine it says unreachable

While using NAT networking
Host MAC machine: 192.168.1.113
BAck track vmware: 172.16.186.130
Again when i ping between those two IP's they work fine, however if i try to ping from the VMWARE to other machines on the same network .. its UNREACHABLE

Shouldn't the NAT networking give my backtrack an IP similar to my host IP like 192.168.1.114 .. instead of 172.16.186.130?

Please help.
