After performing the upgrade from 5.0 appliance to 5.1 I am no longer recieving email notifications for alarms. I checked SMTP settings and alarms and they are unchanged setup same as they were on the 5.0 appliance. The KB article below recommends testing connectiivty tot he email server using telnet but the appliance does not have a built-in telnet client. I am able to ping my Exchange server from the appliance however. Any thoughts on how i can get this working again?
