How to retrieve a custom field value?

Hi everybody,

I've created a custom field that holds a kind of identifier for my virtual machines. The problem is that I haven't found the way to retrieve its value.

The custom field name and its key are:

key: 17

name: 'p_SrvIdentifier'

Does anybody know how I can retrieve a custom field value?
