Bug in Workstation 9.0.1, USB1.1 Protokoll
There seems to be a bug in the virtually usb-driver of the workstation 9.
Starting with Workstation9 the VMware stuff has implemented the USB3.0
support in Workstation9.
Now you can switch between USB1.1, 2.0,3.0 compatibility.
I think, in the course of this, they have implemented a new bug in the USB1.1 protokoll.
I spent several hours to fix a problem in my USB-Programmer after upgrade
from workstation8 to workstation9.
But at the end, I have to switch back to Workstation8...
For clarity: The same VM works with Workstation8 but not with Workstation9.
I try to send a support request to VMware, but my 30 day support period has tined out.
If you plan to upgrate to workstation 9, be carefully if you have USB1.1 devices.
My environment is:
Workstation8, Workstation9.0.1
Host W7x64, Guest: W7x64
Programmer: USB Mikroelektronika MikroProg
USB-Driver: MikroProg v2.11
USB-Protocoll V1.1
